Timofey Radya is one of the most important representatives of Russian street art, raising acute social issues in his urban interventions, while addressing the poetics of everyday language. Unlike many street artists, Radya, who graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy, focuses primarily on the semantic rather than on the visual side of his work. In the manifesto "All I Know About Street Art", Radya says: "The wall of a house and the wall of a room are one and the same wall, one inseparable surface. A beautiful house is a house, which is beautiful both inside and outside and it's the same with a person. The relationship of the inner and outer world is a key moment for street art". The dichotomy of the internal and external, personal and social, temporary and eternal, is central to the artist's philosophy and can be traced in most of his statements.
